Gparted would be a very natural choice for administer encrypted partitions.

Detection of encrypted partitions was added in GParted 0.4.4.  Improved detection will be included with GParted 0.4.5 when it is released.

Once, my encrypted partition (truecrypt) was deleted by gparted while installing Ubuntu 8.10. I am sure you can imagine what my reaction was. It happened when I was creating swap partition, resizing primary partition and the encrypted partition was next one, after the primary one.
