Topic: Partimage disappears going from 1st to 2nd screen.

I downloaded the latest CD image from the web site and tried using it. Gparted works okay it appears. But Partimage just bombs out when leaving the first configuration screen to go to the second configuration screen. I mean the program just disappears - gone - no messages - no nothing.

Please, what do you exactly call "the latest CD image" ?

Sorry :>) I guess I posted in the wrong forum also perhaps? I downloaded the live CD. Should I be posting this in the Live Media forum?

yes you'd better post on live media. I gonna move it.
the livecd you downloaded is no more supported, since the maitainer is gone away with the (and this) project. SO i have recently build a new livecd, which is vaible at : http://gparted-forum.surf4.info/viewtopic.php?id=313
