Simplify extended partition moving

I had three ext3 logical partitions in an extended partition.  The third primary partition needed to be larger and there was extra space in one of the logical partitions.  I reduced the size of the logical and extended partitions but found I couldn't move the extended partition to the end of the disk afterwards.  Instead I had to return the extended partition to the original size and then move each logical partition individually to the end of it.  Then resize the extended partition and leave space before it for the primary partition.
