Topic: Huge Problem

Well, I had 1 succesfull run with gparted on my notebook, when I tried to use it on my desktop, all hell broke loose. Anyway, that being said, I tried to re-format from fat32 and ntfs and lost all my data (Some important stuff, but it's my fault I didn't do any backups.) Anyway, not I have 2 seperate hard drives in my desktop, and for some reason, I can't install ubuntu or XP on either of them. Only 1 hd was used with the live cd and the other was not touched. I hope you guys can help me. I can't get the Ubuntu cd to boot anymore, it crashed during the install at 28% copied. Well, I know I screwed something up badly, but I just want to get it fixed.

Any more details needed, please ask.

ok, please let us know what the actual problem is (only gparted related please) and make sure you use the latest gparted livecd.
