Re: Cannot have a length of -1 sectors

I will try the latest version.  Am working remotely and was hoping there was something I could do since the users are already off line.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry Renee, but btw Plors is away, and i cant solve this alone. But so far i can remember this bug as been solved in next release.

Any way, which fs are you trying to resize ?

Re: Cannot have a length of -1 sectors

It is a Windows 2003 server.  Just booted with version 0.3.3 and got the same error.  Think this is a software bug and not something with my server?

I appreciate your help.

i guess this might be NTFS, right ?

could you print any screenshot and post its url somewhere ?
To take a screenshot within the livecd : http://gparted.sourceforge.net/documentation.php
To save the file : http://gparted.sourceforge.net/larry/ti … etails.htm
(it is for details, but it works with all kind of file, of course)

Re: Cannot have a length of -1 sectors

Yes, it still showed with the latest version.  Have decided the problem is with our image file.  Not a problem with Gparted.  Thanks for your help.

Hi, what makes you think it's a problem with your image file? I'd like to make absolutely sure this isn't a gparted issue, so maybe you can explain it in little bit more detail?

thnx!
