Topic: [SOLVED] Gparted with en message on a french Ubuntu

I would like to run gparted with messages in English, as my Ubuntu system is in French.
Since gparted doesn't have a Preference choice for configuring the message language, I've tried LANG="fr_FR", LANGUAGE="fr_FR" and LC_MESSAGES="fr_FR", but to no effect.
I apologize if I'm not asking this question in the right place, as gparted follows general rules.

Try this from the command line:

LANGUAGE=en sudo gparted
