Topic: Gparted gets stuck loading up from CD to format laptop

Hello,

I have just downloaded and burned the latest version of Gparted to CD to format my hard Drive, Gparted will start to boot up but gets stuck before it loads the hard drive page up, so I cannot format my hard drive.

Any help would be appreciated

Which image file are you using?

If your computer was built after 2010 then chances are good it has a 64 bit processor.  If so then be sure to use the amd64 image.
