Topic: Gparted black screen at boot with Dell Vostro 14 5401

I am trying to launch Gparted using an external USB when booting the laptop: in both cases I am able to visualize the starting menu with various options for running Gparted or Parted Magic, but after selecting any of these the screen just goes blakc and I can't do anything more.

The video card is an NVIDIA GeForce MX330 and the pc is a Dell Vostro 14 5401 that allows only UEFI mode as a boot option. Plus, I have already deactivated the secure boot option.

I don't know what to do next since no options seems to work.

You might try some of the suggestions in Tips on Booting GParted Live.
