Topic: Gparted error on a Mac

Hello!

First of all, I am a complete noob when it comes to programming of any kind, so please bear that in mind when explaining anything.
I tried to resize my bootcamp partition on my 2013 Macbook Pro via Disk utility, Macs built in partition manager. after this however windows no longer showed up as a boot option in my startup manager. I posted on the Mac forums for help and they suggested Gparted to help. I made a CD and booted it from the startup manager, but after the first menu it went to a black screen and showed an error. I took a photo becuase I don't know what it means, but it says someting about a firmware error- "ioapc 2 has no mapping iommu"
I posted it here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252445575. Its the latest post.

Can i use Gparted on a mac or do I need to find something else?

You might look at FAQ 21: How can I fix missing or lost partitions on Intel-based Mac OS X?.  Otherwise you might seek help in a macos forum.
