Topic: Getting Print error devsr0 sector xxxx errors and no GUI

Getting a few errors saying print error... dev sr0 sector xxxx and buffer I/O error asyn page read multiple times. After these msgs stop, boot seems to continue and I enter the options as they are presented. Then I get some text about Debian GNU/Linux stuff, no warranty etc...   Then the text msgs seem to finish but no GNU is displayed to continue.  I tried the suggestions on the video setup to no avail..  What next???

/dev/sr0 is very probably the dvd drive. If you run GParted Live from a cd, you have to check the disc for errors or try to burn another cd.
In addition, you can check the checksum value for your downloaded iso file.
