Topic: UnDual boot

I have a dual boot computer where Win7 is on sda and Linux Mint is on sdb.

I no longer want the Win7 disk on this system.

If I simply physically remove the present sda drive will GParted Live be able to recreate the MBR or build a grub track that reflects the new configuration?

I have the Linux Mint installation  backed up, and as much as I like installing operating systems ...  life would be easier if I didn't have too.

Thanks

Paul

Re: UnDual boot

The process depends on how booting is configured on your computer.

You may need to change the boot drive in the BIOS/UEFI and you may need to restore the boot configuration using live media containing your distro or GParted Live.
