Topic: Soft lockup - CPU#2 stuck bug

The problem exists for several years but still not fixed. Thoroughly described here and here.

Solution from the above threads helped, after I added to GRUB cfg line, Gparted booted wonderfully.

nouveau.modeset=0

Is it so hard to build-in nouveau drivers detection and/or Dell laptops detection out-of-the-box? I don't think so.

Please, somebody submit the bug to bugzilla.
