Topic: exfat and Gparted ?

Ubuntu 16.04.* with "exfat-utils", and  "exfat-fuse" packages installed:

I know that with

sudo mkfs.exfat -n LABEL /dev/sdXn

an exfat partition can be properly created, (on any disk...), AND, it then can also be seen on Windows or MacOSX faithfully.

Also, it looks like RedHat now offers exfat suport, and/or atleast the ability to add the necessary exfat creation utilities,...
https://access.redhat.com/solutions/70050
..which means every Linux distro, supports exfat now.

So, when will Gparted finnally add this feature to their GUI ?

Thanks.

This question in the above referenced link (which I cannot access due to a paywall for subscriber content) asks:
Is it possible to mount an exFAT filesystem on Red Hat Enterprise Linux?

Being able to mount a file system is not the same as full support for the file system.

The situation has not changed.
See Bug 639760 - exfat / fat64 support?
