Topic: bcache

I recently started using bcache.  It is a great way to have your cake and eat it too.  But I am worried about the ease of rescue operations, so would seem a good idea to have gparted understand bcache devices, both the backing devices and the cache devices.

I look forward to any replies.

Thanks for your awesome work.

Re: bcache

I am not familiar with bcache.

Is there something different in the partitioning of bcache devices?

Do you have a link or two which describes the partitioning challenges with bcache devices?

Links are easy, the challenges I'm actually not sure.  Moving the partitions around and maintaining coherency, I suspect could be challenging, with UUIDs and such.  But the inner workings are a bit beyond my understanding.
The first step I surmise is simply having the bcache_misc driver/module available in the kernel.

Also see the linked page from there at evilpirate.

Thanks

Sorry, the name of the driver is simply "bcache" under Device Drivers->Multiple devices driver ...->Block device as cache
