Re: GParted and exFAT

According to the features page, GParted can detect, move and copy a exFat filesystem. It can't create or modify it.

Gparted can handle devices and media (disks, cards, memory sticks) that contain a partition table (e.g. msdos-type, or GPT). It can't handle devices that are just formatted with no partition table.
You can check with the GParted live cd/usb if your device is well detected by GParted. Furthermore, you have to verify that the system where you plan to use the card is able to handle partitioned media or just formatted.

*** It is highly recommended to backup any important files before doing resize/move operations. ***
