Topic: Keyboard and Mouse not working

I am using GParted Live 0.14. When choosing between the boot options, my keyboard works fine. When it comes to the choose keymap screen keyboard and mouse do not work.

Can somebody help me with this problem?
Keyboard is a USB-Keyboard, Mouse is a PS-2 mouse. It takes quite sometime (2-3 minutes) until the boot reaches the choose keymap screen.

Have you tried the gparted-live-0.14.0-2 image in the testing branch?

It works with that version! (I used the zip for a USB drive.) Strange that it does not work with the stable version.

By the way (I do not know, where to post feedback):
In http://gparted.org/liveusb.php#windows-method-b Step 3 it says: "Keep the directory architecture, for example, file "COPYING" should be in the USB flash drive's top directory (e.g. G:\COPYING)."
There is no COPYING file in the root directory. Probably the tutorial is out of date.

Re: Keyboard and Mouse not working

'Glad to hear that the newer GParted version works for you.  Each new version of GParted Live includes the latest Debian Live packages, which are continually updated.  Perhaps you have a computer that just recently had support added in one of these packages.

Thanks also for the note about the tutorial.  There is a docs section in the bug reporting that can be used to report bugs in documentation.

Thanks Anton for the tip about the COPYING file no longer being present on the latest GParted Live image zip files.  The Live HD and Live USB pages have now been updated accordingly.
