Topic: 0.9.0-6 versus 0.8.1-6 (for NTFS use) - Where's the old download?

I presume that ANY usage of GParted in a NTFS environment (I have ext4 and NTFS volumes on same drive). On the download page I see "Please use GParted Live 0.8.1-3 or 0.8.1-6 if you need to resize NTFS.", but no link to that version, only these:
Download old LiveCD (0.0.9-alpha1 to 0.3.4-11) releases
Download old LiveUSB (0.2.5-2 to 0.3.1-1) releases

I'd like a LIVE CD on that one to replace my old 0.6.2-2 disk I still have laying around...

Also, is there any other bugs or issues that, by using this older version I need to be aware of - I am going to clone the Windows XP part of a failing 250G drive to a newly formatted/partitioned 1TB drive tomorrow.  smile

Thank you,
MRK

You can find other versions of GParted Live under the stable and testing folder links.

As for bugs, yes GParted does contain bugs and requests for enhancements.  These can be checked on the bugs page.  Having said that, I have successfully resized many NTFS partitions using GParted software.

The best advice I can provide is to backup your data before editing partitions or resizing file systems regardless of which software you use.

I have used GParted as long as I have used  Linux - since maybe 2006.  Yes it is a great program and much thanks for the developers and testers.  My question regarding bugs and issues was because, since th e latest version IS bugged (?) for NTFS, as a newer release, it was released with bugfixes and updates (as a newer release would be).  I was just asking if any bugs that have since been fixed, that may be present in the older version; if I need to be aware of anything?
Thanks!

Both GParted Live 0.8.1-3 and 0.8.1-6 should work well for resizing NTFS.  We are working on a new 0.9.0-7 that downgrades the version of ntfsprogs to avoid the problem that was discovered on 0.9.0-6.
