Topic: How Partition USB hard drive using V0.6.4.iso

I have used GParted successfully on IDE drives, but it doesn't see my USB hard drive. Is it possible to partition this USB hard drive with GParted? If so, how?

I have used the USB drive under Windows XP SP3 and deleted all the partitions with the Disk Manager. But Windows only shows an unallocated 128 GB space and this is a 250 GB drive. I don't know what to make of that.

Under CentOS V5, GParted also doesn't see the USB drive, although the OS shows it as /mnt/usb but says its empty.
