Topic: is this a bug of gparted????

when i boot ubuntu 8.04 livecd, run gparted or run gparted from installed from harddisk it say:

but if i run cfdisk

also fdisk

but sdb is normal

i cant install ubuntu in sda, i must installed it sdb
ubuntu can mount all partition in sda but not gparted

i think it is a bug of gparted

Thank you for the inclusion of the screen shot.  Which version of GParted (and libparted library) are you using?

In addition to the above, I'd like to ask if you did try the "Gparted livecd", not just Gparted from Ubuntu.

I tried both (ubuntu 8.04 gparted 0.3.5), i boot from cd to install to a partition in sda but can't, i must install it in sdb

i will try 0.3.7
