Topic: problem running Gparted

I currently run Windows 7 professional x86 and my HD had a separate partition to use as a Recovery drive. I erased this drive with Windows and now I am trying to reallocate the resources to my main C:. I d/l gparted ISO and burned to a CDRW. After boot I selected the first option on Gparted (what ever it said the default was.) It loads many things and after a while nothing.....it just sits blankly and I dont believe the cd is even spinning. any ideas?

Which version of GParted Live are you using?

Did you confirm the MD5SUM or SHA1SUM of the .iso file before burning the .iso file as an image to the CD?
