I have see if usb device are physically in the sistem, so it is in /dev/usb and I edit the command 'ls -l' the system answer me: d rw-rw-r-- so it a directory of usb device!
I return in /home/user where is the file gparted.jpeg and  I have lunched the command
cp gparted.jpeg /dev/usb but the answer is cannot fund 'dev/usb' and the system anwering me: _rw_r__r__ - ------ gparted.jpeg so, the file 'gparted.jpeg' is an image of the partitions but is impossible to copy it into the usb device.
if anybody can help me I will be gratefull!

To write to the usb device you first must mount it on a mount point (folder).

Please see Saving Details for Bug Report
(and doing screenshots) for more details.
