Topic: xfs_check never finishes

i have a 9tb partition on an hardware raid controller, after adding an additional 2tb harddisk and expanding the raidset i booted with the livecd and expand the partition but the xfs_check runs now nearly a week....can i grow the partition without xfs_check?

seems to be a gparted livecd problem....

i just restarted my server with the installed debian lenny, installed gparted and run it via x11-forwarding from my client and it took 30sec. and is completed now;

livecd (stable) version 0.6.4-1 --> not working
debian lenny version 0.3.8-1+b1 (xfsprogs 2.9.8-1lenny1) --> working
