Topic: [SOLVED] Booting ISO from USB

I get a localhost.localdomain login: stoppage when I try to boot the GParted ISO from a USB using GRUB4DOS.  Is it possible to boot GParted in this way and if so, is that a normal occurrence?  I'm aware that GParted can be installed to a dedicated partition, but I'm trying to boot the ISO from a single partition containing multiple applications.  Is this possible?

Thanks:|

I tried the USB version and tried to boot it (again in multiboot environment) using syslinux.cfg, but got kernel panic with last two versions 3/4 of the way into boot-up.  Finally, I tried GRUB4DOS in multiboot environment using USB live-0.6.1-2 and success.  Placed GParted in its own folder, booted USB with syslinux, fired GRUB4DOS from syslinux menu and basically followed this thread for the menu.lst entry in GRUB4DOS:  http://gparted-forum.surf4.info/viewtopic.php?id=14307.

I realized later I should have put this entry in the Live Media section instead of here.
