Topic: No X, SuperMicro motherboard, ATI mobo video
My Dell 1024x768 flat panel is giving me "can't display this video mode" when X starts. I dug around in the forums here but solutions that I've found so far seem to have already been added to the latest 0.6.2-2 ISO (ie. the modeset boot params).
Here's what lspci tells me:

With Forcevideo I tried the vesa and nv options. I don't know where to look to see what other drivers are available to try. (I'm a server guy who drives a shell, and rarely use X. So I'm not familiar with debugging it.)
To capture the above, I did find I could insert my USB Flash stick and see it detected and mapped to sdb1, so I just "sudo mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt" and then "lspci > /mnt/lspci.txt" to capture it.
What's the next step in figuring out how to get X to come up?
