No bootloader

So, I screwed up my computer(Toshiba NB205 and thereby no CD drive) pretty bad yesterday trying to get Jolicloud on as a 3rd OS after Windows 7 and Fedora 12. After much fiddling with it, I've come down to a completely wiped HD with only 1 large partition formatted to NTFS and Stage1 of grub. I need help either repairing grub or completely wiping it and replacing it with Windows mbr. I tried to do what it said on this page under "Fixing GRUB boot problem" but the first command wouldn't even work.

So, I'm in need of great help. Please try explaininganything as if I hadn't the faintest grasp of computers at all. Or at least of linux. Because I don't. I'm done fiddling with other OS's after this.
