Re: gparted 0.4.6-1

GParted livecd 0.4.6-1 supports most hardware RAID controllers as well motherboard-based "fake" RAID. However it is always possible that some controller isn't supported by the included drivers.

You could try to boot your system using the livecd. If the specific controller is supported, GParted will be able to detect the partitions. Otherwise, it will detect just independent empty or invalid disks.

*** It is highly recommended to backup any important files before doing resize/move operations. ***

Re: gparted 0.4.6-1

I was wondering if you knew anything about this on a Windows Server 2003. I am all for anything Open-source but I am currently stuck with this SQL Server and it only has a 12gb C drive which is almost full.

Can you tell me if it is possible to re-size the C drive of Windows when it is a SCSI RAID1? Let me know if you need more information about the Server itself.

Any help or redirection is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
