Topic: Resize button not enabled

I'm running dual boot for XP and Ubuntu.
Disk Manager in XP does not let me resize my partitions, and GParted does not let me as well.
The resize/move button is not enabled(grayed out) and so are the rest of them. The only options are delete partitions and create new.

You could try checking the features available in GParted under the "View" -> "File System Support" menu.

If, for instance, the chart shows that you are unable to grow or shrink NTFS file systems, then you will likely need to install the required software which is NTFSPROGS.
