Topic: [SOLVED] Add the gpart (guess partition) program

I needed it and manually installed after i boot, but it was hard to configure the network.
I think that this program should be part of gparted. Its a must.

OK, gpart will be added in the next release.
Any difference between testdisk and gpart ?

BTW, for network, if your NIC is supported, you can manually config it by ifconfig, route, and /etc/resolv.conf.

I didin't knew testdisk. I didn't knew gpart either, but when googling about recovery gpart poped up right away.
About the network, my nic is wireless and iw* tools are not in the system (also, some kernel modules where missing).
I can suggest to add "ping" also, i don't think it takes that much space and is really useful.

Thanks for the software, I recovered everything and I can sleep tonight ;-)
