Topic: [SOLVED] Request for higher (VESA) screen resolution than 1024x768

When loading GParted Live I have to select "Run Forcevideo" mode and the VESA video driver.
Unfortuantely this video mode offers as highest screen resolution only

1024 x 768

even if the physical screen allows much hgher values.

Why?

Is it possible to add in the next release other resoutions like

1280 x 960

or

1440 x 1080

as well?

Even after complete start the desktop icon "Screen resolution" is greyed out/disabled.
So I cannot change the resolution later neither.
