Topic: [SOLVED] GNU GRUB? Huh?

I'm trying to increase the size of my ext3 partition with the Gparted Live CD, using the 0.3.4-11 version of the ISO and burned a CD from it successfully. However, I don't see the screen described in the documentation when it boots. Instead, I see:

GNU GRUB version 0.97 (638k lower / 52300k upper memory)
[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a decive/filename.]

grub>_

Typing in "help" reveals a list of about a dozen or so commands, none of which I know how to use properly. Help?

Edit: I just found another topic similar to this one. I must have missed it the first time around. I'll give it a try and post here again soon.

Edit 2: Yeah, the solution in the above linked thread worked for me. I switched to the 0.3.4-10 version, forced VESA and everything worked. ... Except my USB mouse. That was a little disturbing ocne I got into the gui proper. Still, all's well that ends well.
