Topic: No GUI, how to run/start Forcevideo from the Bash prompt

What is the command to force the video for a GUI?

If the boot process stops in an early step, you could try a slightly older version, like 0.3.4-6 or 0.3.4-7.
I guess you mean the LiveCD.

During the boot process Gparted reported that it could not start the GUI ( graphic user interface) and that I force the video by running or starting something Forcevideo.  I was left at the "Bash" prompt and have no clue as to how to run Forcevideo.

You type Forcevideo at the prompt, and then you have to enter manually your video adapter and resolution to use.
