Topic: Grub
I cannot find GRUB on the Gparted-live-0.3.9-4 version of the CD. Where is it?
I used to be able to run it from a terminal window command line. Thanks.

Hi,
sorry, "Grub" is not contained in "GParted live 0.3.9-4" distro. "Syslinux" is used instead. But of course you can add it and use it. My personal preference is "Grub4DOS", because I come from the "Windows corner", and I appreciate a maximum compatibility, leaving the (Win-)Boot records untouched.

It was something that I really appreciated on previous releases and I used it often. Why in the world would they do that - it's not like it was some huge program or anything?
I would like to recommend that it be included again in future releases. How do I do that/

put it to "Feature requests" here in the forum. You are right, the size of the program could not be the cause.
