Topic: Dell 410 with two 250G SATA drives

GParted is dying on the load.  I keep getting errors such as:

failed to recover some devices- retrying in 5 seconds

Then it gets to the drives, see the CD & DVD, then goes to the two 250G drives and just sits there and hangs up.

Any suggestions?

Which is the version used?
Latest Livecd version is 0.3.9-4.
