Topic: Blank screen after Live CD menu on Ideapad U110

I have tried booting in default mode and safe graphics mode but am getting a blank screen after hitting enter on my Ideapad U110. Ctrl+alt+backspace isn't bringing anything up. I am trying to recover space used by the Windows recovery partition since I'd like an all Ubuntu computer. Any ideas how to make the Live CD work?
