Topic: [SOLVED]LiveCD 3.6.7 not booting from CD on XP machine

Hi,

The subject sums it up.

I downloaded and copied the ISO LiveCD 3.6.7 to a blank CD.

I went to BIOS and changed Device Priority to the CD player.

I rebooted and still booted WinXP

I rebooted and went to the BBS and selcted the CD to boot from.

Same thing ... WinXP booted off the hard drive.


Tired multiple times with same result.

Ideas?  Suggestions?

Did you burn it as ISO image?

No ... new to Linux ... I assumed "burn" in the instructions meant "copy".

Found Image Burn, used that, did the trick and GParted is working just fine.
