Topic: How to boot from live CD?

I'm using GParted Live CD 0.3.6-7 on WinXP Home.

When I boot my PC with the CD in the drive, the PC goes to Windows as normal.

I tried using F8. No luck.

Is there another key combination to force the PC to boot from the CD?

You have to adjust the boot priority in the BIOS setup. The CD or DVD drive must be before the hard disk.
To enter the BIOS setup, you have to press the key Delete or Del on most systems. Nevertheless some systems use other keystroke, like some F key.
