Topic: gparted brought 2 days
Hi
I use the live cd.I have a 120gb and i will resize it.Now gparted worked 2 days.Is this normaly?
He tells me no error etc.

It doesn't happen often to take so long, but it depends on the filesystem details and the number and nature of the operations we ask. In general, moving operations or resizing operations that move the start sector of the partitions take longer. External drives are usually slower to access. Eventual hardware problems that could force Gparted to read and re-read several times can slow the process even more.
