Topic: What's going on?

Have altered the boot sequence so that i can boot from the GParted "Live" CD. I then select the "Auto-configuration" boot option and during boot, i press "Enter" twice when prompted to select the "keymap" and language settings" and that's it! I am left with a blank screen? Could someone tell me how i can resolve this problem please bearing in mind that i am a GParted and Linux n00b. Thanks

You have to try other boot options. The option VESA works in most cases.

Know this is going to seem really stupid but could you tell me how i might go about changing the boot option to VESA on the "live" CD please.
