Topic: how to resize partition on win 2003 server??

hello every body, i'm newbie in here .. i need your help .. my computer is running MS Win 2003 Server Data Center Edition .. there is one 80GB HD .. i partitioned in each 40GB C & D .. C is system & D is only for data ... now data partition D is full .. C has more free space remaining .. so i want to resize system partition C & add free space to D .. is it possible by GParted Live CD?? How can I do?? please guide to me ...

It is possible.
Take care of the following: it isn't good to have partitions with less than 15-20% free space. So, try to remain in the "safe" side. No less than 10% free. You can reduce the size of internet temporary file folder, as well as the trash folder.

Go 1 step at the time: shrink the second partition, reboot in mswindows 2-3 times, then go for system partition grow, and reboot 2-3 times too.
Be sure to have backup of important files, and if possible, run the system with UPS, to avoid any power failure risk.
