Topic: Recover NTFS partition after aborted Resize

Hi,
I recently did a stupid thing, which is abort a resize process of gparted. It was on a NTFS partition, within a block. It was about growing state when I quit (it seems like it takes forever to finish - 4 hours on a 80gb partition of 7200rpm drive). Anyway, now the partition does not show up and no where i can find my files sad.

I'm trying TestDisk recovery feature, it sees the block, but cannot see any filesystem associated to that block. Anyway I can recover files on this partition?

btw: I used liveCD

Abort midway the resizing process isn't good at all.

You can recover files from the hard disk using "photorec".
It comes with various live rescue cds.
