Topic: GParted File system check error repeatedly

Hello all,

I have an HP laptop PC, with an HGST 1TB HDD inside. When I used the bootable live GParted to resize my main partition, in order to create a EXT4 partition I encountered an error while checking the filesystem (file name: "gparted_details_JUL32019_01"). After running windows's CHKDSK /F and waiting, I rebooted twice to attempt to resize the NTFS partition once again, and then I encountered yet another error (file name: "gparted_details_JUL42019.htm"). With this more recent error, the log file is much larger in size, even after running CHKDSK... Windows had found no errors on the drive and no action was taken all in all...

Here's my shared folder from my Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1rpVJ9 … 4ezqapi_h5), since I cannot link each of these files independently.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this will help, but under my defragmenter program's disk map, it shows a very strange cluster pattern... still, no errors though. [file name: "Screenshot (28).png"]
