[SOLVED]GParted Live CD stalling during boot

So I'm using the GParted Live CD to extend the main partition on my Ubuntu VM on VMWare. I boots fine, I select the options, but when I'm done with the last selection, it goes to a black screen with just a "_" on it and stops there. Any ideas? I've tried the 'Booting Tips' as well.
