Re: Create GParted live from scratch ?

Hi,
I have updated the doc
http://gparted.org/create-gparted-live.php
However, it's easier to use this method to include the packages you want:
http://drbl.org/faq/fine-print.php?path … uashfs.faq

Re: Create GParted live from scratch ?

I can not reproduce the issue you mentioned. What's the command you run for step 17?
If it still fails, I would suggest you can use this method:
http://gparted.org/add-packages-in-gparted-live.php
It will be easier.

Re: Create GParted live from scratch ?

Hello
i have try secondery method...
http://gparted.org/add-packages-in-gparted-live.php

Everything seem to be ok.
Except at this fonction :

sudo mksquashfs squashfs-root filesystem.squashfs.new -b 1024k -comp xz -Xbcj x86 -e boot

A lot of line :
Failed to read file squashfs-root appear...

and to build the image (i have test in 2 differents computer : 1 I7 3ghz 8Go RAM and XEON 3.ghz 32Go Ram) more than 8 hours to have a 54% compilation....
