Topic: I need to edit the LiveCD's xorg.conf

I want to use GParted to resize my partitions so that my Windows partition is bigger, as Windows programs are more bloated than GNU/Linux programs.  I have an ATI Mobility Radeon X700 graphics card, which is plagued by a problem in the X Windowing System that apparently causes X to get confused with respect to the primary and secondary displays.  The result is that, upon autodetection alone, I get a blank LCD.  When I was installing Ubuntu and checked the community support for a solution to this, I came across this wiki and was able to fix the problem.  However, the fix involves manually adding a line to xorg.conf, something I've found to be pretty much impossible to do with the GParted LiveCD as it doesn't appear that nano is included in the LiveCD.  How do I edit the LiveCD's X.org configuration file?

You can use either vi either mc
Anyway i the next release i add a Forcevideo script that allows users to set video driver and resolution, if auto detection didn't work.
