Topic: "Error Loading Operating System" after XP resize

So, I used the newest version (non-beta) to shrink my NTFS partition (with windows XP) and create an ext3 partition with the intention of installing Linux, but now windows won't boot...all it gives me is a black screen that says "Error Loading Operating System" in the upper left hanf corner of the screen...any help would be great!

Hi woodsbw !
I guess you built your ext3 partition *in front of* your XP one ?
Please post somewhere an output of the GParted layout (screen shot), so we can have a look at this.
