Hi All,

ignoring the windows server 2008 built-in resizing tools
sad
i used gparted 0.46 on a fujitsu-siemens machine with sata raid1
to move from this
c: 25GB ( almost full )
d: 205GB ( almost empty )
to
c:45GB
d:185GB

No problem during the shrink of C:
But the resizing of d: gave the famous

The NTFS journal file is unclean. Please shutdown Windows properly before
using this software! Note, if you have run chkdsk previously then boot
Windows again which will automatically initialize the journal correctly.

Now windows can not start
status 0xc0000225

if i run the windows server 2008 installation disk it find no installation to repair.
i already run ntfsfix on both partition
i just shrink c: to 35GB but this did not help

i just start with a live of gparted 0.48 to run again ntfsfix but still can not boot windows server 2008

solved

i booted with the windows 2008 server recovery disk, with the good sata driver, and use the windows option "recover boot settings and restart"
