Topic: gparted interrupted, now laptop won't boot

During a fresh install of Ubuntu karmic on an Asus EEE PC, I turned off the computer during partitioning, because I realized I had failed to specify ext2 and no swap. When I tried to turn the computer on again afterwards, the computer would not boot. After a few seconds of blank screen, it turns itself off.

What did I do? How do I fix it?

thanks

Re: gparted interrupted, now laptop won't boot

You could try to use GParted livecd to make a "New partition table". This will overwrite the previous partition table. Then you can restart the install process from 0.
