Topic: Windows XP : Gparted failed to extend partition

I try to extend the c: partition of my XP machine.

1) first, I run chkdsk /f twice

2) I boot on Gparted, and I extend the c: partition from 179 Go to 700 Go
     -> it failed after the "test resize operation", during the "real resize" step.

now,
From Windows , the c: partition is still 179 Go
From GParted, the c: partion is 700 Go

What can i do ? Any idea ?

It seems that the file system didn't grow.
You can retry with GParted, to resize the partition back to its original size and then repeat the operation.
