Topic: [SOLVED]No partition resize possible

Hi all smile

I have one HD of 112 Gb with 47.64 Gb used (43%) + 64.17 Gb unused (57%) in one NTFS partition with Wxp.

I would like to resized this partition which used almost all (say 98%) the HD to make place for Linux.

The W xp partition was cleaned and defragmented. For the second try HKLM/system/mountedDevices was deleted before but that's make no difference...

I have the last version of Gparted live CD and it boot with no problem. I choose all default settings when booting and have the access to Gparted BUT it's impossible to resize the partition with the graphic display and the mouse or with the size number in this window.

Shortly said: I can't move the graphic with the mouse and I can't change the numbers...

Idea? suggestion? link? documentation? or the solution?  :-)

Thank you for your attention.

Can you post a screenshot from GParted, please?

*** It is highly recommended to backup any important files before doing resize/move operations. ***
