Topic: 4.4-1 iso checksum mismatch

I have downloaded the 4.4-1 Gparted live CD three times and the published checksum does not match that of the .iso file.
  What am I doing wrong?

Hello jimbob,

this might be an issue with your internet access. "Sourceforge" downloads are rather slow and the longer the download lasts, the greater is the chance of faults in my experience. Some few wrong bytes mix up the checksum.
Maybe you try it elsewhere again (a friend, an internet cafe, a university / school ). Anyway it's good to have a check, so that you don't get in trouble later. With a slightly dammaged brandnew DVD burner , I mixed up  a whole Vista installation.
I suppose you used appropriate programs to calculate the checksum. There are some, where you do not need to write it down and type it, but you transfer it via clipboard.
